”I had been contemplating a boudoir shoot for a while, but had previously dismissed them as too posed or smutty – page three girl I am not! Chris thought it would be a good idea to do one also to boost my confidence a bit before the wedding, as I’m not too comfortable being centre of attention and he thought it was a good way to be able to see what he sees in me and make me look forwards to the wedding a lbit more. I’d worked with Jess before and loved the photographs she took of me, so when she said she did boudoir pictures I jumped at the chance of doing a shoot with her. I’m not going to look like this forever and thought that if anyone was taking my pictures in underwear, it was going to be Jess! I knew her signature style to be soft and relaxed, and she was so friendly she put me at ease straight away. She loves to use natural light rather than a flash so not only was I able to forget the camera was there, it didn’t feel like a photoshoot and the pictures look so original and instinctive. I knew I could trust Jess to make me look my best, I’d quite like the pictures in an album now to keep forever not only for Chris but for myself too. I am so very proud of the pictures, and my fiancé loves them so much he’s even debating a job change to stay closer to home! I love that now I can say I did it and I think I look pretty good in them! Praise must be given to Jess too – she is such a fantastic photographer, not only does she completely understand her subjects and make them feel at ease, but she creates pieces of art at the same time. We recently celebrated our 14th Wedding anniversary and couldn’t think of a better way to spend the day than having a professional photo shoot. The photographer ‘Jess’ was not at all how I expected. I always imagine that photographers are bossy and intimidating but Jess was easy going, professional and very positive. She has a calm & soothing temperament which made us both feel totally relaxed and confident. Above all we enjoyed spending time together on this shoot. It felt exciting & new and we have decided to make the effort to do more together since. After all more mature couples can still have fun, right? I love the photos from the shoot, in fact I am overwhelmed & overjoyed at how glam I look and how lovely they have all turned out. Jess definitely exceeded our expectations. I’d like to make a valid point… you mostly see photoshoots in the bridal mags and wedding blogs of young couples all loved up. And to treat yourself to a ‘couple’ shoot doesn’t mean you have to be young and newly in-love. I think it’s so much fun that if you are celebrating an anniversary or your love for one another there isn’t a better way to have an excuse to dress up, get pampered and document your day more than having a photoshoot! I want to see more mature couples indulging in this sort of thing, and would most definitely recommend it 100%. We now have some new memories documented… We are so very pleased. Thanks Jess!

Jess photographed our wedding in September 2011 as well as a ‘pre-wedding shoot’ the summer before. She is undoubtedly a very talented photographer with an eye for detail and contemporary shots. She was prompt, professional and a pleasure to have around on the day and we are very grateful to her for providing us with such beautiful images of our special day. The photo booth at the evening reception was great fun and a big hit with the guests. Jessica’s ability to capture the smallest details from the props to the smallest of items that made the wedding so unique has ensured that we will forever have a collection of photographs that will remind us of our amazing day. JESSICA JESSICA JESSICA… Do you remeber how stressed I was before my actual wedding day? I was in Istanbul, Turkey, and my husband to-be was in England! You were with me every step of the way. You flew out to Istanbul (Jan 2011) a few days before my wedding day. You came with me to my dress fitting, my Haman (turkish bath party), my home of the morning of the wedding & the hair dressers, and most importantly every minuite throught my big day. You are amazing, talented, creative, artistic and this reflects in your photographs. You shared my excitment, stress and happiness. When I look as these photos now I relive all the same feelings again. To capture all this is more than words can say. Than you… my friend.

It was my 30^th birthday and it was a year full of continuing changes & surprises.  Mostly due to having a gorgeous 14 month old baby boy.  So I was wondering how to mark this momentous occasion.  I realised that I had lots of pictures of my delightful little son, but none of me with him.  So that was it, my mind was made up & for my birthday I wanted a mummy and son photo-shoot.   Now here lies the problem… I have a total phobia about having my pictures taken.  I know Jess and as a fan of her work and knowing what a genuinely lovely person she is I was absolutely delighted that she was free to do it.  And what a great day it turned out to be.  Despite the occasional summer showers we had a great day in my favorite park in Leeds.  My little angel was his usual charming self pulling all kinds of crazy faces and Jess making me laugh and directing me with where was best to look and coming up with so many great ideas for the shots; from Noah walking amongst the ducks, to the both of us reading stories on a picnic blanket and playing with raindrops on trees.  To be honest, being such a photo phobic, I was a bit nervous when waiting to see the faults in the photos themselves but I had absolutely nothing to worry about.  They are stunning!  I was so pleased with them I couldn’t decide which one to frame, so I had a frame made to hold them all!  There are also pictures of Noah hanging in family member’s homes and desks at work.  To say I am pleased with the photographs is a huge understatement.  So if you were to ask if I would recommend Jess for your photographic requirements, my reply would be YES! Without a doubt xx
