Peak District Engagement Shoot – Emily & Rhys
I first saw Jess’ images through a friend of a friend on social media and I was blown away. From the beautiful quotes Jess uses to frame her images to the detail of the natural environment where she favours to shoot, the care she takes in her work is incredible. The muted and intimate warmth her and Rodrigo showed for each other throughout the shoot was infectious, and Rhys and I spent the whole session smiling at their love for one another and reflecting on our own feelings and excitement for our wedding. One of the nicest thing to do as a couple in love… is to spend time with other couples in love, and this mutual understanding fostered a wonderful energy in this shoot.
When we first met Emily & Rhys’ for their Peak District Engagement Shoot it was a little damp to say the least. Despite the unpredictable weather up in the Peak District, it still made an amazing back drop and we had smiles all round. Emily and Rhys make the most beautiful couple, they were super easy to be around and we even got the pleasure of spending some time with them in one of the local Country pubs! We left smiling with wonderful memories of a great afternoon spent with lovely people (despite the typical Sheffield weather), and we are really looking forward to their being their wedding photographers at Kelham House in Newark, Nottingham very soon!
