I’ll hold your hand if just for a while to guide you, comfort you, protect you. When the time comes for me to let go I will still be there, in the shadows and will always have your back. I’ll watch from a far as you make your mistakes and without judgement I will try to advise you. I will be there to catch you when you fall with words of encouragement but I will still tell you so when you step out of line. For now I can only teach you, the best I know how to be a good, honest, decent person. So hold my hand and we’ll walk together into hope, doubt, happiness, sadness, success, failure, love & hurt.
